Welcome Back Everyone, This is my second blog of Kaithal Food Tour. Today, we are moving toward the, second stop was Dua Misthan Bhandar in Sarafa Bazaar. They are the most famous sweet and snack shop in the city whose legacy dates back to somewhere around 1951.
Here we first witnessed the making of the monsoon time treat, ghewar and bhura/shakkar ladoo at their workshop and then visited the shop to try them. The crumbly luscious ladoo was simple yet special because it is made from coarsely powdered ghee fried maida chunks.
The ghewar too was crunchy, optimally sweet, rich and just perfect. When, we are reaching here they are preparing Ghewar and ghewar is also very popular sweet in Haryana and Rajasthan region. Sonipat is known as city of Ghewar. We also tried Churma ladoo at another sweet shop also having very great texture and taste. Thank's for reading We wiil meet you soon...

After Touring in Kaithal, it really feels as if I'm visiting some old historic city. Kaithal is the birth place of lord hanuman, Kaithal is known as Kapisthala. It is named after lord Lord hanuman it is believed to be lord Hanuman birth place. There is a temple dedicated to goddess anjani as well. It is also called Choti kashi as we know of it today. Good morning everyone, In today's Blog we are going to visit Kalayat Hindu Temple situated in outskirts of Kaithal. The word "Kalayat" is derived from Kapilayatana, which signifies the place where the sage Kapila lived. The sage Kapila, one of the most well-known philosophers of India, is claimed to have resided here at one point. Only two of the area's original five temples—which date to the eighth century AD—remain today. The temples are excellent examples of early Hindu architecture and were built by cutting bricks and mortar. The local authorities maintain the etched bricks because they are genuinely unique. These temples hold a special place in history since they may be the only remaining Hindu artefacts from the time before the Mughals. The temples are close to a river's banks. Hi, everyone today we are moving toward Boali is a well that has been built in a particular fashion with brick steps leading down to the well. This water tank is locally more popular as ‘Bhai ki Baoli’. The three story building is like a step well that has walls on both sides. The sides of the steps are decorated with arches and doorways. The Bhai rulers of the Kaithal state commissioned the construction of this baoli. Located near the Government hospital in the city, the baoli is a beautiful place to visit! Today, we are visiting Gulati Sweet shop in Sarafa Bazaar. This shop is famous for his cusine Dahi Bhalle, they are very authentic and old shop. This is made up Black and yellow lentil fritters topped with yogurt, chutney, boiled potato, spices etc. We had a flovour similar to link kanjivada.
